Unless otherwise stated, the datasets and metadata published through GeoIP Locations are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The material is provided totally free and may be reused with attribution.

Where this applies
This notice applies to ProdIPData datasets and metadata published through GeoIP Locations unless a page, file, or release note states otherwise.
Scope and exclusions
The dataset license applies only to the rights ProdIPData can license in the published datasets and metadata. Third-party source rights, trademarks, logos, and other protected materials remain subject to their respective terms.
- Dataset pages or files may carry a different notice where required.
- Website code, styling, scripts, and operational tooling are not covered by this dataset notice unless explicitly stated.
- Upstream source obligations still apply where they are relevant to the published material.
Operational guidance
For internal governance, keep the attribution string with downstream copies, cite the release month used, and preserve any file-level notices that accompany a specific package or reference catalog.
- Include the release month in reports and downstream data products where practical.
- Retain this notice or an equivalent attribution statement when redistributing files.
- Contact ProdIPData if a downstream use case requires a separate written clarification.
